Transaction Fee for Card Payments Starting January 2

Effective January 2, 2026, NVEC will implement a 2.95% transaction fee for all payments made with credit or debit cards  (minimum fee of $1.95). This fee helps us cover the rising costs charged by card processors. These fees will apply to all payments made online, in person, or by phone. 

There are still other fee-free ways to pay, including: 

• Using cash, check, or eCheck
• Setting up automatic payments from your savings or checking account
• Paying through your bank's online bill pay
