Power Outages 4/5/2023

At Navasota Valley Electric Cooperative, we know our members expect the lights to come on every time they turn on the switch. Our goal is to safely and reliably deliver electricity to homes and businesses. However, there are times when we experience a power outage for a variety of reasons. Currently, we do have outages in our system. This is what we know at this time:

ELLIOTT and HEARNE AREAS- At 12:26PM power was restored to 274 meters. We still have 48 meters out of power in this area. POWER RESTORED AT 2:06PM

  • The power outage began at approximately 11:00 AM.
  • At this time we can confirm we do have a power outage that is affecting approximately 322 meters.
  • The power outage area includes Elliott, Hearne, and Brazos Bottom.
  • Crews are on the scene.
  • Residents and businesses in our service area could be without electricity for several hours.
  • Power has been restored to none of our members, as of yet.
  • At this time we are in the early stages of restoration.
  • We apologize for any inconvenience this event may have caused.
  • To report an outage or a downed power line, you can call 1-800-443-9462.

 

FRANKLIN and WHEELOCK AREAS: POWER RESTORED at 9:57AM

  • The power outage began at approximately 9:00 AM.
  • At this time we can confirm we do have a power outage that is affecting approximately 540 meters.
  • The power outage area includes Franklin to Wheelock.
  • Crews are on the scene.
  • Residents and businesses in our service area could be without electricity for several hours.
  • Power has been restored to none of our members, as of yet.
  • At this time we are in the early stages of restoration.
  • We apologize for any inconvenience this event may have caused.
  • To report an outage or a downed power line, you can call 1-800-443-9462.
